Calling all FCT Supporters!!

We need your help!

We need to fold 1000 origami paper cranes by the end of our Children’s Theatre productions this April, so that we can send them to the Children’s Peace Monument in Hiroshima, Japan.  Our Varsity Players play is called A Thousand Cranes, and is the story of Sadako Sasaki–a 12 year old girl who died as a result of the atom bomb radiation sickness.  The cranes are a tribute to her, and also a global symbol of peace.

If you would like to help, please click HERE for paper folding directions to make the cranes (or you can Google on your own!).  Cranes can be dropped off at the FCT office at 623 Main St. in Canon City on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6-8 p.m., and some will be used in the production itself.  We will place all the cranes in our front window display so you can watch them grow!  Thank you for your support!!
